Dr William Jenkins is Founding Scientist at Scientific Learning Corp., USA. He will discuss and present new neuroscientific research findings for improving human learning. From the research on brain development to the technologies available to intervene, this seminar illustrates how science is advancing the cause of the struggling learner, and how brain research is helping lead the way. Dr. Jenkins will describe effective intervention for struggling learners, with new opportunities to effectively accelerate their academic progress in months rather than years.

In addition, Rachel Copeland, SENCo at Sevenoaks Prep, will detail the school’s successful implementation of the neuroscientific programmes of Fast ForWord. She and Lesley Prout, Speech & Language Therapist, will discuss the benefits realised by students in their communication, reading, learning and social interaction skills.
